In his research Kasper Steenfeldt Tipsmark has worked with the nobility, horses and court culture during the reign of the Danish king Christian 4 (1577-1648). As part of his research he has published several research papers as well as articles for a broader audience such as “Fortified Manors and the Danish Reformation in 1536” ”Hvad er en herreborg?”, and”Kongens ridderspil: Sociale funktioner ved Christian 4.s kroning i 1596”. He is a founding member of interdisciplinary and Danish network ”Curia Danica – Dansk netværk for hofhistorie”.
