The mission of the Danish Research Centre for Manorial Studies is to disseminate knowledge and research findings about Danish manor houses to everyone with a professional or personal interest in the subject.
Hence, the Centre implements regular learning projects, which in various ways aim to convey knowledge of manor houses past and present to the people of Denmark. For example, in recent years we have been working to compile and disseminate knowledge of manor houses in the landscape, and of Denmark as a manorial landscape. Every year the Centre and its affiliated researchers publish articles and give lectures on the subject of manorial research, and take part in academic networks, also maintaining contact with the press and other people with an interest in the subject of manor houses.
